Christ's Hospital

Christ's Hospital is an academically selective school that uses its own assessment process for admission into Year 7 and Year 9. The evaluation involves two stages, beginning with computer-based tests covering verbal, quantitative, non-verbal, and spatial reasoning. Candidates for boarding places who are successful in the initial round proceed to a residential assessment, where they stay overnight and participate in various tasks to determine their academic potential and suitability for boarding life. Applicants are expected to demonstrate strong capability in Mathematics and English, typically performing at the higher end of the national ability range.
