Our Lady of Sion School is an independent, co-educational day school situated in the heart of Worthing, West Sussex. Founded in 1862 by the Sisters of Sion, it offers education from Nursery to Sixth Form (ages 3 to 18). Admissions for the Senior School (Year 7 and above) are determined by performance in a standardised Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT4), which evaluates verbal, non-verbal, and quantitative reasoning skills. The selection process also includes an interview with the Headteacher, a review of a reference from the candidate's current school, and participation in taster days. For Junior School applicants in Years 3 to 6, assessment is based on a CAT4 test covering literacy, numeracy, and reasoning.
