Elklan provides a nationally recognised accreditation and training framework designed to improve outcomes for pupils with Speech, Language, and Communication Needs (SLCN). The "Communication Friendly" status is awarded to schools that adopt a "whole-setting" approach, where key staff (Lead Communication Practitioners) complete Level 3 and 4 accredited training and cascade these strategies to the entire workforce. Governed by Elklan Training Ltd in partnership with OCN London, the program aims to embed communication-rich environments, evidence-based adult-child interaction techniques, and inclusive classroom practices into the school's daily routines.
