The Schools’ Enterprise Association (SEA) is an independent national organisation dedicated to supporting the commercial and enterprise departments of UK schools. Its primary focus is helping schools generate additional revenue by optimising the use of their assets, such as facilities for commercial lettings, sports centres, and retail operations. Governed by a committee of elected representatives, the SEA provides a platform for bursars, commercial managers, and business leads to share best practice. Its aims include professional development, networking, and providing specialist guidance to ensure commercial activities align with a school’s core educational remit.
